Frequently Asked Questions

How do I charge the monitor, and how long does a full charge last?

The monitor features a built-in lithium rechargeable battery and charges via a universal USB Type-C port. A complete charge takes approximately 2 to 3 hours and powers the device for up to 200 measurements, depending on regular usage.

Can I use the device while it is plugged in and charging?

No. For safety reasons and to ensure accurate sensor calibration, the measurement functions are locked while the device is connected to a power supply. Always unplug the charging cable before taking a reading.

How do I know when the battery is running low?

A low-battery icon will flash on the LCD screen. When this indicator appears, complete your current reading and plug the device into a standard 5V USB adapter to replenish the battery.

How tightly should the arm cuff be wrapped?

The cuff should be snug but not constricting. Wrap it around your bare upper arm, roughly 1 inch (2–3 cm) above the bend of your elbow. You should be able to slide two fingers comfortably under the edge of the cuff. Ensure the air tube runs straight down the center of your inner arm, aligned with your middle finger.

Why do my readings vary between home measurements and clinic visits?

Blood pressure fluctuates continuously throughout the day due to stress, temperature, and activity levels. Many individuals experience "White Coat Hypertension"—a temporary spike in blood pressure caused by the anxiety of being in a medical setting. Tracking your readings consistently at home at the same times each day provides a more reliable baseline for your healthcare provider.

What does the color bar on the side of the display indicate?

The visual indicator strip corresponds directly to the World Health Organization (WHO) blood pressure classification standards. It instantly categorizes your reading into Green (Normal), Yellow (Mild Hypertension), or Red (Severe Hypertension) for quick, at-a-glance interpretation.

What does the irregular heartbeat symbol mean?

If the device detects an irregular pulse rhythm during measurement, a heart icon with wave symbols will appear alongside your reading. Occasional appearances are generally not a cause for concern, but if this symbol populates consistently over multiple days, we recommend consulting your physician.
